To continue our mission for all children to have access to high quality creative experiences we now have play hubs across the Tees Valley. Brought to you by Theatre Hullabaloo and commissioned by Borderlands and funded by Arts Council England, Creative People and Places.

We currently have play hubs in 3 locations: our head quarters at The Hullabaloo (Darlington), Park End Family Hub (Middlesborough) and Grangetown Family Hub. These are free to attend and there’s no need to book however there may be a short wait during busy periods.

At Park End Family Hub we currently have our fantastic Deep Sea Adventures Creative Play experience. Drop in between 10am and 2pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and be transported to the magical depths of the deep blue sea. There’s so much to explore and play with, plus we have a beautiful, sensory story corner  to get cosy in.

Our Fairytale Forest Creative Play experience for 0-5s is at Grangetown Family Hub on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am-2pm each week.

Have you ever wanted to create your very own fairy tale? Let your imagination run free in our Fairytale Forest. Cook up your own spells and potions, dress up as your favourite character or simply enjoy a fairy tale story. There are so many opportunities to play!
