Why are you introducing mask wearing at The Hullabaloo, I don’t have to wear one in other theatres?
We have decided to implement mask wearing at this point because December is our busiest time, we will be having lots of people through our quite small spaces over the next few weeks and we’re keen to do everything we can to minimise the risk to visitors and to our staff so we can continue to operate the programme and to keep everyone as safe as possible.
How long do you think you’ll be requiring people to wear masks for?
We’re introducing this now because we know Christmas is our busiest time and we will be reviewing it regularly.
I’m fully vaccinated / have had Covid – do I still need to wear a mask?
We’re asking everyone over the age of 11 years old to wear a mask as you can still catch Covid and infect others even if you have been fully vaccinated or have already had the virus.
I am medically unable to wear a mask.
Thank you for telling us, that’s fine, you are not required to wear a mask if medically exempt.
I don’t want to wear a mask
As part of our risk assessment, we’ve decided it’s important to ask people to wear masks and businesses are legally allowed to make decisions about mask wearing on their premises based on the safety of their staff and customers.
I don’t want to come to the event if I have to wear a mask
We’re very sorry you feel that way, we’re happy to refund your ticket in full at the box office.
What else are you doing to help keep people safe?
As well as mask wearing, there are hand sanitiser stations throughout the building. Screens will be in place at the café and box office areas and we are asking people to be mindful of space around others.
